Nádúr Farm & Woodlands

A regenerative tourism vision rooted in farming, biodiversity and place

The Brief

To support the development of a new agri-tourism destination in Fethard-on-Sea, Wexford – shaping a compelling narrative capable of communicating the project's vision, purpose and long-term impact to planners, stakeholders and the wider public.

Working alongside O'Connell Marketing and Stephen Carr Architects, the objective was to translate a farming and hospitality concept into an accessible business and impact framework – grounded in regenerative farming, biodiversity, hospitality, tourism and place.

The challenge was not simply to explain a development proposal, but to communicate how farming, ecology, community, hospitality and tourism could operate together as a living system.

The Approach

The work focused on creating architectural plans that communicate both vision and credibility – balancing strategy, local needs, storytelling, and visual clarity.

This included:

  • leading the development of a local and national impact report and core narrative

  • shaping the food, farming and regenerative tourism strategy

  • working closely with the design teams to visualise the land, ecology and visitor experience

  • translating complex systems into accessible visual and written formats

  • contributing to research, positioning and wider project direction alongside the wider team

A key objective was to ensure the proposal could be understood not simply as a development but as a living system rooted in land stewardship, biodiversity and long-term thinking.

The Outcome

The final plans became a central tool for communicating the vision for Nádúr Farm & Woodlands – supporting planning discussions, stakeholder engagement, and a wider understanding of the project.

The work helped:

  • clearly articulate the role of biodiversity, regenerative farming and hospitality within the proposal

  • demonstrate how farming, tourism and conservation could function together as an integrated system

  • visualise how the farm and woodlands could operate as a lived visitor experience

  • position the project within contemporary conversations around regenerative tourism and sustainability

  • strengthen the clarity, credibility and accessibility of the proposal

The project demonstrates how strategic storytelling, visual communication and systems thinking can help people understand complex land-based projects and their long-term potential.
